How to Bulk Add Your New/Own Products?

Part 1: Export the existing products(to have the format)

  1. Step 1: Login to your Admin panel.
  2. Step 2: Navigate to Product Import > Export / Import from the left pane
  3. Step 3: Under the 'Export' tab, select the option ' Products (including product data, options, specials, discounts, rewards, attributes and filters)'.
  4. Step 4: Scroll down to the 'Please select the data range you want to export:' section. Keep selected the option 'By id range'.
  5. Step 5: Enter '10000000' under both 'Start ID' and 'End ID' columns.
  6. Step 6:  Click on 'Export' button at the bottom.
Now save the format template in your system's desired location.

Part 2: Adding New Products

  1. Step 1: Open the downloaded sheet.
    Note: You will find a data about a single product, this is for your sampling purpose. You can add your products below this row and finally delete this row.
  2. Step 2: In the 'Products' tab, fill all the required values i.e., product_id, name(en), sku, quantity, model, image_name, price, shipping, date, description, meta title, meta description, meta keywords, etc., make sure all the required columns as in that dummy product data are filled.
  3. Step 3(optional): For adding more images, upload it in the 'Additional Images' tab. For special discounts or discount, use the respective tabs. Use 'Product Attributes' and 'Product Options' tabs for providing options like color, size, material, etc., to your buyers.
Save the sheet after editing it.

Part 3: Importing the Products

  1. Step 1: Goto 'Import' tab by navigating Products Import > Export / Import.
  2. Step 2: Click on 'choose file' button and select the file you saved.
  3. Step 3: Click on 'Import' button and it's done.
Notes:
1. While adding new products of your own, in the Product_ID column, give numbers 10000001 or above. This is to avoid any clash with our existing products.
2. To display images(main and additional images) for all your own products, you need to you have your images stored in external servers like Flickr. Flickr is recommended. In the 'image_name' column, you need to enter the full image links ending with '.jpg'.
3. After clicking on 'Import', it will show if it's uploaded or not in the top of the same page. If it's not uploading, it will show you error logs in the same page, just fix it and re-upload.
4. Note: in the 'status' column, enter the value as 'true' in small letters.
