How to create a Coupon Code?

Step 1: Login to yourr Admin dashboard.
Step 2: From the left pane, select Marketing > Coupons.
Step 3: From the right side, click '+' from the top right, as in below window.

Step 4: Fill all the required fields and click on save(floppy icon) from top right.

Fields to fill:
  • Coupon Name: Enter any contextual name, for your own reference.
  • Code: This is the Coupon code that when users enter will provide them the discount that you are setting.
  • Type: Set a percentage or a flat discount.
  • Discount: Enter a numeric value. This is the discount percentage/amount that user will get for entering this coupon code.
  • Total Amount: Total amount that a buyer should reach to make use of this coupon.
  • Customer login: Decide if a customer should be logged in to avail the coupon or he can use it as a guest user, without logging in.
  • Free Shipping: Select yes or no.
  • Products: If you want to provide coupon only for certain products, select the respective products here. Otherwise leave it empty and the coupon will be available for all the products.
  • Category: If you want to provide coupon only for certain categories, select the respective categories here. Otherwise leave it empty and the coupon will be available for all the categories.
  • Date Start: When you want this coupon to be available from.
  • Date End: When you want this coupon to end. Users cannot use this coupon after the end date.
  • Uses Per Coupon: The maximum number of times the coupon can be used by any customer. Leave blank for unlimited number of uses.
  • Uses Per Customer: The maximum number of times the coupon can be used by a single customer. Leave blank for unlimited number of uses.
  • Status: set Enable to activate this coupon.
That's it, you have created a coupon now. You can use it in your marketing campaigns to let your customers enjoy exclusive discounts from you and increase your sale.
Tip:
Use different coupons for different channels to understand which channel is working good for you. For ex: If you are promoting this coupon on Facebook, use code like FBSummer10 and for Google, use like GooSummer10,
