RTO, Return to Origin is a shipment state where shipment is not delivered because of various reasons like customer refused the item, the door is closed or the customer is not reachable. In such scenarios, the courier company will directly return the items to the origin i.e., to the manufacturer.
The reverse shipping charges for such scenarios which are called RTO charges have to be borne by the reseller as it's reseller's responsibility to ensure that the orders are genuine since Baapstore does not contact the end customers directly for any reason.
Additionally, when an item is returned and if it is because of any reason apart from defective/wrong goods sent, the reseller will pay the return shipping charge which is also called RTO Charge.
